Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy uses Occupational Therapists (OTRs) who are concerned with how people perform across the various daily activities that are important to them. They recognize within occupational therapy that the presence of illness or disability might affect this performance. In order to assess how a person completes a task and identify what is making it unsatisfying, the occupational therapist will observe the person engaged in familiar activities. They will then design goals and activities to improve on these skills in adults.
